Kingsholm was clean and comfortable. Little touches like homemade marmalade and jams made from ingredients grown in their own garden made it feel like a proper home away from home. Nothing I didn’t like!

I had a very comfortable three‑night stay. Once I arrived I was left to my own devices, which totally suited my needs. From the entrance to my room on the second floor, the room and bathroom were very clean. The bedroom had complete matching furniture and was nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with nice bedding. As stated, it’s not far from the harbour. Bus stops are near the property, so it’s very easy to arrange day trips. I only saw Chris on arrival, and that’s fine because I get up early and like to go out for the day, so I can’t comment on breakfast. I hope to return in the new year, so my personal preference would be to ask for a room on a lower floor. It was quite a struggle getting up the stairs with a suitcase, but that’s only due to my mobility.

The location is perfect, and the host is helpful and informative. The room is comfortable and breakfast excellent.

The owners were lovely, and the place was close to everything I wanted to see. My room was clean, tidy, and the right size, and the price was reasonable. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable for me, and parking can be tricky because the lane is very tight.
