We stayed in a pre‑erected big tent with its own picnic benches outside, which were really nice, and the mattress beds were super comfortable so I slept really well. On one night and the next morning there was a lot of noise from nearby tents, and the shop and café weren’t always open.

The stay was great, the chalet is truly very pleasant. I travel a lot and pay close attention to cleanliness, so it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a place so clean and well‑maintained. The tub is very relaxing after a long day. The campsite is family‑friendly with many children but unusually quiet after 9 pm, creating a good vibe. All the staff at the campsite are really friendly. The bus stop at the end of the lane is convenient; otherwise there’s parking inside the campsite. A bit nitpicky, but a few more basic kitchen utensils would help, and some extra info on the booking page would be useful. The variety of food at the shop is limited since there’s no store at Kirk Mickael, at least not pasta or sauces. Other than that it’s really great.

The location was great and the people were friendly, and the pre‑erected tents were very good, but it would have been nice to receive a paper with the does and don’ts and a map of the site.

Friendly staff. Well maintained site. Good location and easy to get to without car. The bed! We stayed in what was described as a luxury emperor tent. The bed was not luxury. Mattress was really umcomfortable cheap spring mattress. 2 pillows provided which were flat and clumpy. The bed needs at the very least a thick matress topper. My little boy described it as trying to sleep on a rack of ribs!
