Honestly, it wasn’t a great deal. The place was tired and dated, clearly needing a refurbishment, and felt unwelcoming. When we asked for a full English breakfast, we were told to order four, but what arrived had no bacon, chicken, or sausages, and everything was cold. Then we were told it was a Muslim hotel and they wouldn’t serve pork, only halal food, so we left it and declined breakfast the next day—this is unacceptable.

Ozi and the staff were very pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. The place was clean inside but could use modernization. Breakfast lacked sausage, bacon, and baked beans, but the staff were helpful; I can understand if that’s part of the culture.

The staff were friendly and cheerful, and the room was ready and warm even on a very cold day; it was also spotless. The room felt a bit cramped, though.

The hotel’s location was ideal for my brief visit, and I liked the room’s facilities; it stayed warm and the king‑size bed was very comfortable. The young proprietor was very welcoming and served a good breakfast, so I’d definitely recommend it. I can’t think of any negatives.
