The hotel sits in a quiet spot a few minutes' drive from Rischli, perfect for unwinding in nature, and we were greeted warmly. Our room was spotless and the wooden construction gave it a nice feel, plus the free parking and the view of Brienzer Rothorn were great. Breakfast was plentiful—everything was there except fresh fruit—but the single coffee machine and the heavy front door made the morning line drag on.

“Piękny nowo wyposażony niewielki hotel wśród gór i łąk, daleko od innych zabudowań”

The place is beautifully refurbished and tastefully set up high above Sorenberg, surrounded by mountains and meadows. We got in very late on bikes, and when one of us ran out of e‑bike power and had to push uphill, the owner drove his car over to give us a lift—very courteous. Everything else was spot‑on.

“Magnifique séjour”

Tucked in the countryside, the hotel is extremely peaceful and the staff were genuinely friendly. The restaurant served a big, tasty meal that we really enjoyed. The only gripe was that we were charged a steep price for tap water even though we were already drinking wine with meals.

Modern‑looking hotel right by the cross‑country ski tracks, offering a lovely view and a comfy double room with a perfect bathroom. We took half‑board: a light, healthy vegetarian menu and a breakfast that covered both sweet and savory without missing anything, which set us up nicely for a hike. The staff were welcoming and the price was reasonable for Switzerland, so we’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at Bergwelten Salwideli felt very comfortable; we were welcomed warmly and the newly renovated rooms and lounge have a charming décor. Service was top‑notch throughout, and we’d gladly choose this spot again.
