“Quiet and Comfortable”

The gentleman running the hotel was very nice and accommodating, helping with my booking when I was exhausted. The room was comfortable and quiet; it’s a small, rustic, somewhat run‑down place that still feels appealing. It’s safe and far enough from the road to avoid traffic noise and headlights. A little TLC could help, but overall it was comfortable and the price was reasonable. I only needed a cool, quiet room, and it delivered. I didn’t like the small, oddly arranged bathroom; the shower wasn’t great but got the job done, and it could use a remodel someday.

What breakfast? I was billed for four nights instead of the one night we stayed, and the bedroom floor was faulty with limited linens.

The staff always goes the extra mile, giving me a perfect 10/10, but I was let down that the TV lacks the St Louis Cardinals channel.

I appreciate how close the hotel is to everything I need—Walmart is just across the street, the Maya Mexican restaurant is next door, and the gas station is only a few blocks away, which is why I usually stay here when visiting family, but none of the rooms have a handicap‑accessible bathroom, so my mom can’t stay with me.

“Worked at the last minute b/c it took dogs at no extra cost”

It worked for me because it was pet‑friendly while another hotel in town wasn’t. The shower was hot‑ish. The TV worked well enough. The hotel supplied shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer. There were bugs in the room, a lot of wear and tear was obvious, it was pricier than it should have been, and checking in was more difficult than necessary, though the staff were nice.
