The hotel sits right at the base of the “easiest” Snowdonia route, just by the railway, and the on‑site parking is a real perk that saves money on street parking; breakfast was solid and got me ready for the day’s adventure.

The spot and dinner were great, staff were very good, but the room itself was a bit small.

The location was ideal for the Llanberis path, but the rooms felt dated and the lack of soundproofing meant noise from other guests was noticeable when doors were closed.
