The location was great, allowing plenty of wildlife observation, and the site was well laid out; the boat tour with Hugo was amazing. However, there were no mosquito nets, which is unusual for the area, the innerspring mattresses were ancient—more metal springs than fabric—and one bed was missing a board in the slatted frame; the next morning we were covered in bed‑bug bites.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience, with some highlights and lowlights. On the positive side, the guide for the boat tour and nighttime excursion was fantastic, providing a wealth of information and insights into the local area. However, I was disappointed by the muddy parking lot, a window that wouldn't lock, and a lack of security, which made me feel uneasy during my stay. While the manager did try to resolve the issues, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the response.
My stay here had its highs and lows. The location was superb, which was a big plus for me. On the downside, the breakfast was quite small, and I found the evening meals and drinks to be somewhat pricey compared to local standards.
