The bath was kept clean, and the food was delicious as usual. The room’s air conditioner was old and couldn’t be adjusted properly.

I was blown away by the place and the staff, and there were plenty of food options, but the old facilities and lack of cooling made the hard beds a real drawback.

The staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating, and the food was extremely delicious and filling; it became one of our favorite parts of the entire Japan trip, so we’ll definitely return.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, where every detail was thoughtfully considered, blending traditional Ryokan style with modern comforts. The friendly and attentive staff went above and beyond to meet our needs, from helping with luggage to ensuring our meal times were booked. The large and beautiful public onsen, lovely outside areas, and exceptional meals served in private booths made for an unforgettable stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this traditional Japanese ryokan, nestled in a valley and offering a range of amenities, including an on-site onsen and free shuttle service to the station. The friendly staff and good food, although a bit repetitive, made for a comfortable stay, and the free snacks and drinks in the lobby area were a nice touch. However, I had to adjust to the ryokan's rules and found that dining options nearby were limited.
