“Not nice at all.”

Only the owner was a nice person and the breakfast tasted good. The room had many problems. It was suffocating to stay there. We were there for 3 days and the electrical line started having issues the moment we checked in. The ceiling fan barely moved, the AC made a lot of noise, the bulbs started flickering and then the bathroom bulb broke. We complained but nothing changed. The most annoying part was that the toilet was also broken. Water leaked from the bottom and foul smells came out from the moment we checked in.

“Great for a short night budget stays”

The property is very close to the beach. The stay was good and cheap. There’s also a kitchen that can be used. Nearby restaurants are available for a quick night stroll. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful… perfect for a budget, short night stay. Reaching the property by car is a bit tricky because the roads are small and only fit one car at a time. The bathroom light was not functioning properly.

“At this price point it's good value”

Beds were ok, owner was lovely, washing machine on site. Located close to coconut hills on foot but recommend renting a scooter if you want to stay in this area, to explore beaches. Breakfast did the job, the homemade coconut roti was decent with fried eggs and some fruits. Stayed in the bottom room, would stay upstairs next time because the communal kitchen area is right next to the room. Rooms smelled damp as noted in several other reviews. The AC was dirty and in need of a deep clean. Caused a sore throat. Didn't turn the fan on which was dusty as we didn't want to spread all the dust around. Bed linen was stained but felt clean overall

“Fantastic stay: perfect location and unforgettable breakfasts”

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house in Mirissa. The location is fantastic: it is very close to Coconut Tree Hill, in a very quiet and peaceful area, yet strategically located. From here, everything is easily accessible on foot, or by taking a bus or a tuk-tuk. The owners are lovely people: very kind and discreet, but always available when needed. A special mention goes to the breakfast: every morning they surprised me with different and delicious dishes. It is the perfect place for those seeking relaxation without sacrificing convenience. I will definitely be back!
