The management was shady. They had confirmed our booking more than half a year before, taken the money, and then, just before the trip, cancelled the reservation with the vague reason “they don’t want short‑term guests” and became unreachable.

The host was incredibly kind, showing us where everything was in the beautiful house. He was attentive and friendly, and the apartment even had leftovers from previous guests, as if you could leave something for the next ones. I highly recommend this place for any group of friends wanting to enjoy Oslo and its lovely neighborhood, plus an exceptionally kind and attentive host.

The price and location are definitely great, with a Kiwi store nearby; the kitchen has pots, pans, a stove, and an oven—comfortable and cozy. Plenty of books, and you can learn Norwegian. One of the double beds was a bit tight for two people, and we were short on cutlery for our large group.
