Its restaurant features wooden furniture and an open fireplace. Guests enjoy hiking, cycling, and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Wesergebirge Mountains. Free private parking is available, with Hamlin just 30 minutes away, and Rinteln centre a 5-minute drive.

The restaurant is exceptional; the food was very tasty, especially breakfast, so I highly recommend it. We booked a room for two with a queen‑size bed, knowing it was a bit smaller, which was fine. However, we only received one blanket and one pillow for two people, and only one towel—an unexpected shortfall for a double room. Cleaning could be a bit better; there was a lot of limescale in the shower. We wanted dessert at the restaurant in the evening, arrived at 20:15, and found that desserts could only be ordered until 20:30. We told the service staff we still wanted dessert, but they said it was too late and they don’t take pre‑orders. It felt like they didn’t want to sell it to us; ordering main course and dessert at 20:15 should still be within the window, but the kitchen didn’t bring it out. This could improve in the future. Nonetheless, the food was top quality—thanks for that.

The hotel masterfully blends the historic building with coziness, ambience, and modernity. Super staff, great facilities, and cuisine. The mountain location and view are truly wonderful—a place to feel at home.

The food was beautifully plated and tasted great; breakfast was good and included everything expected. At the same time, a seminar group was in the adjacent room, so it was a bit louder.
