The owner really needs to step up on upkeep, cleaning and comfort; the Wi‑Fi never worked, the utensils looked old and the outdoor area was in disrepair, leaving a lot to be desired. I wish they would invest in new furniture, fix the Wi‑Fi, replace the uncomfortable bed, improve the shoddy cleaning and revamp the terrible outdoor space, because I definitely wouldn’t return nor recommend this place.

The spot is well placed and the host paid a lot of attention. Unfortunately the shower was burnt out, there was nobody at the front desk, I couldn’t reach anyone responsible and ended up without a bath on a very cold winter day; I get that things happen, but a pre‑arrival check would have avoided that hassle after hours on the road.

The location and reception were great; the Ravengar staff were very attentive and gave us useful local tips. The lodge itself is simple, with no annexes or extra areas, but for the price it’s excellent. Those sensitive to odors might find the wooden hallway smell a bit of an issue.

We appreciated the short stay and the value. The reception area had a cigarette smell, and there was no air conditioning.
