Our Queen deluxe room was lovely with quality linen, towels, and duvets; the shower was amazing, and a pleasant surprise was the available Netflix channel. Coffee, tea, etc. were thoughtfully supplied, along with a small fridge and microwave, and full crockery was available. Air‑con worked great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The attached restaurant, Harbour View, is to die for; the chefs are out of this world and the service matches throughout the restaurant. Just a tip—order the onion rings as a side, you won’t be sorry. The decor in the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The only disappointment was not being informed about all the fishermen staying at the hotel during the season when I called the night before or on check‑in. While they were all pleasant and friendly, it was a bit of a noisy evening. The walls are very thin, and as the night progressed, the fishermen got louder with their guests—moving and dragging furniture—which kept us wondering what they were doing. They all rose early, before 5am, and the noise level increased again (furniture moving again) as they prepared for the new fishing day. Our plugs in the room also tripped throughout the night, so we couldn’t make a cup of coffee or turn on bedside lights or the TV. But Martin was super helpful and had it restored very quickly for us—we were grateful and appreciative of that.
