The room was larger than most Japanese hotel rooms and the self‑check‑in was pretty straightforward, but the strong cigarette smell in the room—despite the hotel being non‑smoking—made the bed smell smoky and disturbed my sleep, and there was a lot of dust on the furniture with some spots that seemed uncleaned for weeks.
