This bed‑and‑breakfast was a scam. The host was absent the whole time and sent us generic “scud” texts. We were never told breakfast wasn’t available. There’s a table with tea, coffee, a microwave, and a toaster, plus questionable mugs. The room is basic for the price, and the house and room stayed open the whole stay with no way to lock them. The bathroom skylight stayed open. A piece of soap is probably the “toiletries.” The wardrobe is cluttered with rags and dusty gear, nothing to put luggage or clothes on, the electrical setup is faulty, and a tablet with old books probably serves as a science library. Some say the host is unpleasant; he never appeared, and his sister didn’t bring breakfast either. The establishment was reported to the authorities.

The place was quiet, but nobody came to greet us, leaving us to fend for ourselves. The garden looked abandoned, and every door lacked a lock, so we couldn’t secure the house. The room and bathroom were old, with no toiletries except a single piece of Marseille soap. The mattress was a spring bed that smelled stale. The breakfast, which was supposed to be included, consisted of two chocolate croissants wrapped in cellophane, two small Bonne Maman‑style brioche in a box, and three little jars of jam—no yogurt or fruit juice. Even on Bréhat Island, the service didn’t match the price, and we were genuinely disappointed.
