“"MISLEADING TO SAY THE LEAST"”
Leaving was the only thing that mattered. The list of issues: 1) No fridge in the bar, 2) Old, worn towels and bath mat, 3) Bathroom extractor didn’t vent, 4) No shower gel, 5) Cracked wooden front door compromised privacy, 6) Only one chair, 7) No room to move in and out of bed, 8) Window faced neighbour’s room, 9) Cleaners used the guest elevator instead of the service one, 10) The old elevator broke often and once I had to descend three floors with a bad knee, 11) I wasn’t allowed to take the key off the premises but a stranger could enter, see available keys, ask for them, and get into any room, 12) Wi‑Fi was the worst ever, constantly dropping and lagging, 13) Three hangers for two people over three nights, 14) Shower cubicle was awful—slippery floor, awkward door missing a handle, no soap dish, and the cold door would slam shut on my back, 15) No drain plug for the basin, 16) No headboard, 17) The mattress was old, hollowed out, and unsupported, 18) Central climate control was hard to manage, 19) Bedroom wall cracked and peeling, 20) Bathroom ceiling had mould, 21) Male staff were surly, 22) The room looked nothing like the ad, 23) No “do not disturb” sign option, 24) No complimentary water. That’s all.
