“Goedkoop slapen zonder al teveel luxe”
I got good value for the price at this cheap, small spot. The building is old, but the sheets were clean and the shower was warm. The elevator can get stuck in long lines, especially when checking in or out, so plan around that or take the stairs if you’re not too high up.

Nothing positive. The staff told me at check‑in that the rooms I had booked were not available.

Location. I booked and paid for a two‑bedroom room in sector E, but the administrator showed me a one‑bedroom, windowless room and said there were no beds. When I showed the reservation for two beds, she sent us to sector A and offered a room there. It was awful: dirty, stinky, full of cockroaches, exposed wiring, spiderwebs hanging like a net, grease on the fan, a layer of dust, and a moldy smell that almost made me vomit. After I complained, they switched me to a two‑bedroom room, but it still had no light in the toilet, a draft, and the toiletries listed in the booking were not provided except for towels. Prior to this, we stayed at Metro Guest House where a man named Samson was very friendly and kept the rooms clean and tidy. I liked that more. I do not recommend Simplex; they try to deceive and are unreliable.

We were not checked into Simplex Guest House. When we arrived, we were moved to another phase, we had to go down the elevator back to the ground floor then moved to a different elevator. Then, we were checked in a very dirty and unmaintained room. The bed had stains and looked unwashed, the bathroom was not flushed- when we used the bathroom, there was unflushed urine from God knows how long. We contacted the owner and said that we want to be moved to the original property that we booked, so they asked us to move to another phase again, but we were still not checked in to the original establishment that we booked. What was worse was that we were told in a rude way that the towels are not free and we were asked to pay 40hkd for the towels! And he said "give me the money, the towels are not free, it's 40 hkd!" And because we didn't bring any towels with us, we were forced to pay! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! DIRTY! RUDE! WASTE OF MONEY!. We were not checked into Simplex Guest House. Good location near Aleya na Zvezdite and convenient transport to the airport. Acceptably clean for the small room size. The street‑side window is a plus, though there is a bit of noise. The room was very small, the bathroom needed renovation, and there were no amenities except two narrow beds. We had booked a room at Simplex, but everything was full and we were moved to another hotel.
