The room was very pretty, but the reception was rushed and complicated. It’s in the city centre and the late‑night concert made it impossible to rest. They refused to change my room, breakfast wasn’t included, and parking was hard to find and not even next to the hotel.

I liked the design of the property, yet it fell far short of a five‑star standard—more like a three‑star at best.
The place is truly exceptional down to the last detail, but the only thing that would push it to a 10/10 is the staff.
“If you are stopping overnight in Banska Stiavnica the Divna Pani is a fun option to spend the night.”
Divna Pani is an experience. We stayed in the Paris room, which was as big as an apartment and outrageously decorated in a fun way. Be warned there is no elevator and a few flights of windy stairs to climb. There’s no air conditioning, so the room stayed very warm even with all windows open; a fan would have helped a lot.
