The hotel is fantastic—everything looks great and the staff are incredibly attentive. My daughter’s birthday was a surprise hit with balloons and sweet treats in her room and at dinner, though the food itself was just a touch underwhelming; the restaurant staff, however, were great.

The room was clean and comfortable, yet each time I ordered from the bar a 12.5 % service charge was added to my bill. This fee is hidden in tiny print on the last page of the drinks/food menu and the staff never mention it, which made the stay a bit annoying; this kind of hidden cost should be an opt‑in, not an opt‑out.
