A classic hotel right next to Lancaster brewery, with super friendly staff and a very comfortable bed; I definitely recommend eating at the bar/restaurant below the building, though the shower drain had a small issue.

The room was cozy and well‑thought‑out, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding.

The spot is great, the building is historic, the pub food is lovely, but there is no lift, which could be tough for some.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and room were beautiful and perfect for our one‑night stay, the evening meal was absolutely delicious and the breakfast the next day was hearty; nothing could be better.
