I arrived to find the reception closed; nobody was there, so I had to cancel and find another hotel. I double‑checked that the place had reopened before booking, but from the outside it looked great.

Janaka was the best host I’ve had on my trip; he helped me with everything and more. I’m very happy to have met him.

This was the best value for money: the rooms were clean and spacious, tea and cake were offered on arrival, and the owner organized an amazing safari with his deep knowledge and experience. I highly recommend both the room and the safari.

We stayed there for one night before a safari the next day, enjoyed a delicious, large dinner and a great breakfast. The host arranged a wonderful morning safari around Minneriya National Park with a perfect driver.
