We loved it. We came at the end of our honeymoon and it’s a beautiful, paradisiacal place, and the staff is excellent. It’s a small island where only the resort exists, so there’s a lot of peace. The whole island is surrounded by coral, so snorkeling is great. 100% recommend.

Everything. The facilities are up to what you expect from a luxury resort. You have everything you need to disconnect from the world and enjoy the paradise that are the Mamanucas. The restaurant options are really good and the staff will do everything in their power to make your stay simply spectacular. The options to get to the island are quite limited and depending on the time you might be left out or have to hire a private service that’s much more expensive. It’s important to contact the hotel before booking to know the schedules.

We loved the intimacy of the property. The setup and the spacing between the cabins made for a lovely getaway. Exploring the island both on land and in the sea was fabulous. The team were exceptional, from bar to dining to general all round service. Always smiling, always at the ready to provide you with service. We enjoyed the food and beverage offerings and the processes they had in place during service. Food came out timely and delicious. The in room facilities were also top notch, toiletries, bed, setting - just perfect. Whatever it is you’re doing team Matamaoa, keep doing it. We look forward to visiting again soon! Guests staying at the property were also lovely and welcoming and community minded too. So it made for an extra wonderful stay. Nothing at all, it was everything we were looking for on a getaway to switch off from the everyday.
