“Fajnie”
The place had good conditions and a great location, and the room was nice with friendly staff.
“Catania hay que describirla en la noche”
There were many tourist-friendly details like water, juice, and a magnet, but it was hot when I arrived and they should keep it cooler.
The room was spacious and Ms Mimma was extremely kind, but getting into the building was a struggle because it was slippery, lacked anti‑slip mats, and the ground was uneven; the high step at the gate was uncomfortable without help for luggage. We didn't get the lift codes, had to call the number, and it took time to understand and receive the information. The landing had no sensor, so I almost fell off the stairs due to no railing and darkness. In the room, the Aurora One socket didn’t work, there was no bedside light, and paint was missing on one side of the bed, indicating maintenance is needed. The windows let in street noise. In the narrow hallway between the bedroom and bathroom there was a low table with sharp corners that could injure your knee, and that actually happened to me. The room card didn’t work for B&B access on Friday, 24 July, so we had to call the provided mobile number to get in. The bathroom’s towel hook was a metal one that fell to the floor. Breakfast was really poor: a note in the room said “Italian breakfast,” but there was no fresh bread, no fruit, only tea or coffee and one croissant; I received vegan options and vegan milk, but overall it was unsatisfactory. Thank you.
Everything was fine.
“Polecam !!!”
The apartment was very well equipped, close to the center of Catania and the famous market, and every morning there were delicious croissants and coffee available; the host was easy to communicate with, though street noise could be heard.
