Located in Cádiz’s historic centre, Hostal Colón Don Miguel occupies a 19th‑century three‑storey building just 2 minutes from the Cathedral and 300 m from the harbour. Rooms feature individually designed décor, marble floors, TV, private bathroom and hairdryer; some include balconies with city views. Guests enjoy a shared terrace, luggage storage, tourist information, and easy access to nearby bars, restaurants, shops, beaches, train and bus stations.

The location was spot‑on, just a two‑minute walk from the Cathedral and quiet because it’s on a less busy street. The staff were very friendly and our newly renovated room was very comfortable. A fridge stocked with free water bottles, tea, coffee, a kettle, cookies and cupcakes were all provided at no extra cost. The only downside was that our ground‑floor room, which we already knew, could use a bit more soundproofing and the window wasn’t great.

Nice hotel in a good spot. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the staff were helpful. The room itself was great, spacious and the bathroom was large. There were some ants in the room, but the area was clean overall and I understand it’s hard to keep them away once they show up. It was a bit noisy with people going up and down the stairs because the rooms are right there, but it’s manageable.

The location of the establishment is perfect, the room is comfortable and clean, there’s a small fridge with free bottled water and some cupcakes and cookies, among other things. The staff are friendly. Overall everything is fine; the only issue is that our room was on the third floor without an elevator, but we already knew that before arriving.

This place turned out to be as good as expected, located in the middle of town, clean, not huge but with all the necessary facilities. The hosts were friendly and even waited for our arrival after a late bus. They also offered coffee, a snack as self‑service, and water bottles for our outings. I would have liked a chair to sit on, as sitting on the bed isn’t always comfortable.
