“Très bel appartement”
The apartment was gorgeous, set in a building with local architecture right by the sea. David, the manager, met me at the airport – that was nice and pretty essential because finding a place would have been tough. It's at the village entrance, close to the center. The mosquito net can be a must during certain times of the year. Talking to the owner beforehand was very easy. Value for money is excellent.

Beytul Habaib – the 'House for Lovers' – truly lived up to its name for this pair of lovers. The location, setting, outlook, room style, furnishings, big comfortable double bed, AC and the naturally cooling wind, sea view, sailing dhows, the daily rise and fall of the tide, bathtub and fully appointed kitchenette, ever‑attentive transport and security provided by David, the house‑keeper – all were perfect. It was perfect.

From 4‑7 Aug we spent our honeymoon here and it was absolutely amazing. The honeymoon arrangement was awesome, romantic and beautifully executed. The staff were very welcoming and made the experience extra special. The traditional house was beautiful, spotless, peaceful and in a great spot in Lamu – truly unforgettable. Honestly nothing – everything was perfect; we loved every moment.
Everything was great – the staff, especially David and the other one, were very welcoming, and even Captain Athman made the stay enjoyable. ❤️ I’ll definitely come back.
