“Would stay again.”
Breakfast was very good, the location is good and the staff were excellent, but the dinner menu could have had more variety, maybe a special menu.

Located in the heart of Lyddington, a charming conservation village, the Old White Hart is a traditional 17th-century country inn blending modern comforts with original wooden beams and period features. Made from honey-coloured ironstone, this historic inn offers real ales, authentic British cuisine, and free Wi-Fi, with seasonal menus featuring local produce, including meat, fish, and game, all at affordable prices.

There was no welcome at breakfast, we were just told to find a table set up for two with no instructions like "please help yourself"; a single slice of toast was placed on the table at the start of breakfast, so it was cold by the time we ate it, and the receptionist didn’t greet us when we arrived.

The building is beautiful, the room is lovely and the food is great, but the bedroom could have been cleaner; there were cobwebs in the chandelier and dust on the ‘orchid’ in the bathroom.

The location is pretty, I liked the room even though it was a little dusty in places and bleach would have helped around the base of the toilet, but overall it was very good; the food was overall loved, though the steak I had was not a great piece of meat.
