The staff were excellent and helped us sort out transport when needed. The facilities were adequate. An extra pillow each and loungers by the room would have been nice. Breakfast was clearly pre‑cooked early and kept warm for a while; it wasn’t great, and the food choices were poor. The headboard and the area behind the TV were thick with dust and there was no mattress protector.

The location near the sea and the large pool are very pleasant! The staff are very kind. The rooms feel old and the equipment is not in great condition. There isn’t much hot water for showers, no Wi‑Fi, and the restaurant is really not good.

The staff were super friendly, very open and helpful, and the dinner was delicious, but we booked a “Superiorroom with deluxe Kingsize-Bett” and the storage area was not aptly named; the floor itself was slanted and creaked, the bathroom/ toilet was in the room without a closed wet area, and the entire steam from the shower blew into the room causing mold in many places—first the shower then the toilet? What sense is that? There was absolutely no privacy with the open concept. For two people there were only two towels, the sink was outside, there was no soap dispenser, proper lighting was missing, no outlet, doors didn’t close properly, all outside noises were audible, the muezzin started at 4 am (the hotel can’t control that), construction ran all day, relaxation by the pool was not really possible, no pool towels—after one night we changed rooms and that saved our stay! The Kingsize bed squeaked and the springs poked—comfort was not there! Breakfast was very sparse; an “American Breakfast” only gave a toast, and at dinner you had to pay extra for everything—very annoying and nothing like a “resort.” On one hand the hotel was very modern with tablets and walkie-talkies, yet you had to pay extra for ketchup…?! Many offered foods were not available at all, fish was not fresh but frozen right by the sea, fruit was almost non-existent—only watermelon, pineapple, and apple, no banana, dragonfruit, orange, coconut—yet there were supposedly plenty! Overall the property felt rather abandoned, the approach road was bumpy.

We were pleasantly surprised during our stay in Indonesia; the hotel was perfect for a break before heading to other islands—a haven of peace and beauty, highly recommended.
