Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City West by IHG

“We went house hunting for my son who has a new job starting in the new year. It was a great base .”

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, guiding us to the right bus for our destination and were also super friendly and charming. The carpet felt a bit worn.

The place is very good and right in the middle of town, with fantastic views of the city and the castle.

“Ottima esperienza”

The hotel is ideal for a stay in Edinburgh; it isn’t in the city centre but the bus stops are right beneath the building. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and available at any hour. The buffet breakfast offered a good range of sweet and savoury items and was very tasty. Overall, a great value. The bathroom was a bit small and not very bright, and the pillows were hard and high; I might have swapped one for a lower, softer one.

“Was a comfortable stay with a nice breakfast . Staff were really nice and helpful . An uber cost between £10-£15 to get”

The staff were friendly and helpful, but when we arrived the room had a strong paint smell and an adjoining door to another room; we were moved to an upgraded room, which should never have happened in the first place.
