“Nice basement spot, but wish for private entrance”
The basement apartment was a pleasant surprise – clean, a decent shower and it fit four people thanks to the sofa bed. They left some snack items and a bottle of iced tea in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was the lack of a separate entrance and the missing creamer or milk in the fridge.

If you’re booking late for Banff, this place works well – good location, a roomy layout and everything we needed was there. The host replied quickly to every question, which made the stay smooth. Just be aware that the cleaning fee is pretty steep compared to the base price, so factor that in when you’re budgeting.

A beautiful, quiet neighbourhood spot that felt very comfortable. The host went out of their way to point out nearby eateries and even gave me a container for my lunch when I was doing some volunteer work. We enjoyed the pool table, ping‑pong, fireplace, TV, and the nicely appointed bathroom and bedroom. Perfect for us since we were heading toward the mountains, and we’d definitely book again.

The owners were really warm and helpful. The downstairs room felt spacious and comfortable, and we could use the whole area to ourselves. The bathroom was large and the bed super comfy; we also had a fridge and microwave at our disposal. The downside was the lack of a sink downstairs – they offered to bring dishes up for us to wash, but it felt a bit off.
