The spot was spot‑on and the front‑desk lady was super welcoming and kind; we wanted a quick, easy, budget stay in the city and that’s exactly what we got. On the downside, I’m a picky sleeper and the mattress felt a bit firm, making it hard to get comfortable (but we only stayed one night). Also, the shower door in the bathroom had come off its hinge, so it needs some fixing, though we booked last minute and the place was full.

The host was enthusiastic and helped with tours and car rentals. However, the wooden floor in the bathroom was rotting, the bath towel was damp and stained, the slippers were dirty, the fridge had black mold, the pantry hadn’t been cleaned in days, and the view was a straight line up the mountain with no real sight.

The location is fine, but the reception was awful. The hotel was completely empty with no staff at the front desk from start to finish. Breakfast was prepared by someone who seemed willing but was not part of the hotel staff.

The hotel manager was very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay a bit more bearable. However, I was the only guest on the first night, and my room was not heated, taking a while to warm up. The breakfast area was also not heated, and the selection was limited. I ended up eating elsewhere on the second day.
