The setting was ideal – very quiet and private. However, many of the TV channels didn’t display properly and the internet was non‑functional.

The apartment and bathroom were well sized. The host left some breakfast items like jam, juice, and crackers for us. It’s not recommended for winter stays: the only heating was an air‑conditioner that struggled to warm the whole place, so we had to keep it running for a long time, and the bathroom stayed cold and damp. The host did provide a small heater, but it couldn’t be used at the same time as the air‑conditioner. The property seems ill‑suited for cold months in its current state. We also felt the welcome was lacking; it seemed as though everything had been left from summer and not cared for. The sheets were clean but old, and overall it was uncomfortable to eat because there was nothing to wash dishes with. The house was clean, but some things didn’t work – the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it hit the floor. I’d recommend more attention and care to make it a bit more comfortable.

Everything was immaculate – the whole place was spotless and every little detail was taken care of. We found everything we needed for the kids’ breakfast. The room was huge. I’ll definitely keep it in mind if I return to the area.

“SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!!”

The Depandance is a really nice and functional place, modern with all kinds of comforts. If you’re passing through Crispiano and the surrounding area, you’ll have an excellent base to stay, and you won’t regret it thanks to the hosts’ kindness and hospitality – they’re truly top. I feel compelled to recommend it because the experience will be genuinely positive. It’s clean and tidy, and we found a basket full of biscuits and brioche for breakfast, a coffee machine with pods, a kettle, a fridge stocked with water, milk, and fruit juice, and an electric oven. If you don’t have a car, getting around is a bit tricky even though Crispiano is very close (just a few minutes by car, about an hour on foot). We managed to get around thanks to Marianna and the other guys’ friendliness and courtesy, but if you’re in the area (whether you stay at the Depandance or in Crispiano itself), consider renting a car. This doesn’t diminish the value or quality of the stay at the Depandance, which remains excellent – it’s just a small but useful tip.
