“Great”

Super clean, beds comfortable, showers nice, great location and easy to reach. Only 3 showers and 2 sinks on the whole floor, which can get crowded.

Love the vibe, security, and helpful staff who speak English well. Snacks are always available in the dining area and they serve coffee. The elevator starts on the second floor, making it hard to bring heavy luggage. I stayed in the dorm; the lighting on the beds could be better for vanity.

The common areas were roomy, spotless, and well kept. The spot was super handy, with convenience shops and tiny eateries just around the corner. Getting around was a breeze—buses were close by and Ximending was a short walk, a big plus for exploring. Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and ready to help. I also liked the breakfast setup; they handed out a coupon that could be redeemed at several nearby restaurants, giving plenty of choices. Socially, I felt the place was a bit quiet. There was no WhatsApp group or many organized events, and I didn’t see guests mingling much, so as a solo traveler I sometimes felt a touch lonely or left out. That said, if you’re naturally social and comfortable striking up conversations, your experience could be very different. All in all, I liked my stay, especially the cleanliness, convenient location, helpful staff, and easy transport access. The room felt a bit cramped when it was full, especially if everyone brought their luggage inside. Luckily, the hostel offers luggage storage in the lobby, which is very handy and offsets the limited space. It wasn’t a big deal overall.
