“Overpriced”

The breakfast was good, with a nice selection that satisfied me. The room was clean. The hotel was built in the 70s, called Motel Alpin, and I stayed there from 1973 to 1980. The rooms and bathroom were renovated but the cigarette smell remained. I was disappointed given the price we paid for the room; it was overpriced. I think they raised the price because of a festival (FME) happening that weekend. Our trip was related to a Celebration of Life for a family member.

The staff at the reception were not very welcoming; that was the only downside of my short stay.
