The bed was great and everything was spotless, the shower worked well, and the hotel’s proximity to the historic centre was a big plus; the price‑to‑quality ratio was spot on, and when staff were present they were all very friendly. The downside is that it’s on the ground floor with no elevator, the key‑code entry was fine but I prefer a staffed reception, and unlike other similar places there was no shared kitchen, tea or coffee facilities, let alone a fridge—either we didn’t find one or it wasn’t there, and the WhatsApp replies were slow.
