The moment I left was frustrating. The morning receptionist’s service was lacking. Everything was wrong: they tried to overcharge me. The rate was u$d 18 but they wanted S/ 70 (u$d 21). They wouldn’t accept my International Visa, so I had to pay in cash. Eventually I was charged S/ 60. The building is new but poorly constructed. The stairs to the upper floor have uneven steps: the first is 10 cm, the others are normal, and the last is almost 25 cm, which could cause serious accidents. The doors are misaligned and scrape the floor. The private bathroom lacks ventilation. There is no hot water in the shower. The address is on an unpaved dirt street with no sidewalks. It’s far from the center—10 minutes by taxi.

The location is good on a quiet side street. The people are very friendly. The room was small and the bathroom very basic. There is no breakfast, but a wonderful café is nearby for breakfast.
