The surroundings were great and the food tasted good, but when we checked in we found leftover food in the fridge, dirty cups and an unclean ice bucket that I had to clean myself. One set of sheets was filthy with a nasty stain. Paying $242.00 for a single night felt unprofessional and unsanitary.

The property sits in a central spot and is close to everything we wanted to do and see, but I didn't like the dirty parking garage, having to pay for parking when I was told I wouldn't have to, and the staff didn't get things done in a timely manner.

The location was convenient, the happy hour was enjoyable, and breakfast was decent. However, the floors in the elevator and hallway were dirty.

Parking was very difficult and valets were not on hand for a long while. A (false) fire alarm around 1:00am meant we got little sleep. There were no staff on hand to tell us what was going on and we were left to decide on our own when to go back to our rooms. There was no attempt to give us a break on the cost of the room which, given the little sleep we got, would have at least recognized that hotel had not fulfilled its basic role - a good night's sleep. This Hilton was not "for the stay"!
