We were warmly welcomed by Abdou, who took great care of us throughout our stay, listened attentively, gave us good advice for hikes, and prepared excellent meals every evening. Breakfast in a lovely garden with roses and fruit trees was a treat. Dar Afra is well situated near beautiful sites in the Aït Bouguemez valley and can serve as a great starting point for hikes to Aït Imi or Sidi Moussa, for example. No complaints.

The valley of Ait Bougmez feels like a tiny paradise on earth, and the accommodation is a spacious room with a patio and a garden full of flowers and fruit. The calm setting is perfect for resting and recharging, and the sumptuous breakfasts served in the garden are a treat. Abdellah is an outstanding host, friendly and skilled; on Friday we shared couscous made by his mother and tasted cherries picked by his son. The Wi‑Fi isn’t great, probably because the place is so isolated.

This Moroccan house in Ait Bouguemez is simple, comfortable, and run by Abdoulah, who is very friendly, competent, and knows the Atlas well. He gives plenty of hiking and sightseeing tips. The property is a typical earth‑walled house, and everything is pleasant: the room, the garden, the quiet. The on‑site parking is secure and free. Don’t miss the excellent breakfasts and dinners prepared by Abdoulah. Highly recommended.
