Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly – that’s all. I’d stay there again anytime.

The staff and owners were very friendly. Running a rural hotel profitably is hard; the staff did their best but the facilities are run down and need refurbishing. It was expensive, especially the most costly dinner on this trip, a very poor café‑style dinner for the price of a 4‑star gastronomic experience. There were no other restaurants within walking distance, so we were stuck. The room rate was also pricey for a guest house; we’ve stayed in luxury hotels for the same money. I wish the owners well but I can’t recommend this place to my friends.

The hotel was friendly, offered good value, and had a cheerful vibe. We especially liked the homemade dinners, which were worth the price, and the massage service was solid. The room could use an update, and there isn’t much to see in the local town.
