The showers could be locked, which was a relief, and the laundry area was handy with a dryer. I liked the extra fridge in the room and the free parking, plus the public transport links were solid. On the downside, the shared bathroom was cramped and the toilet paper ran out after a couple of days, and the toilet seat was wobbly. The rooms facing the street were noisy and there was no way to ventilate properly. The communal kitchen had no seating, so I ended up eating in my room.

There was no air conditioning, so it was sweltering in the room. I couldn't sleep until about 4 a.m., even with the window open all night.

The internet kept dropping and we never managed to get a stable connection. The toilets were also a bit scary.
