Close to public transport, the front desk staff were awesome, and the happy hour was a highlight.

The bedding and room equipment (coffee machine, …) are excellent and it’s close to the subway for southern Manhattan activities, but it’s extremely noisy from traffic and street work and the windows have terrible insulation—this is unacceptable for a hotel of this level, even after a room change. There’s no water bottle in the rooms; you have to buy one in their shop, which is absurd. The reception staff are only mildly friendly.
