It’s right on Via Transsilvanica, and a very nice lady prepares good dinner and breakfast; there’s a small shop for quick shopping. The rooms are a bit small, have carpeted floors, and the bathroom smells unpleasantly like a drain – something that should be fixed. I’m not very sensitive, but it’s not pleasant.

The spot is perfect for walking the VT, and the attached convenience store made snacking on the trail a breeze. The bed was comfy, and the room and facilities matched expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were generous, featuring traditional dishes heavy on meat and cheese. Our balcony room offered a nice view of the road activity. The two staff members were friendly and did a great job welcoming us, making the stay feel like a good value. I would suggest adding some local fruit and vegetables to the menu, since the area grows plenty of them, but otherwise everything was excellent.

I didn’t get breakfast, but I saw other tourists and there was something special about the place—it was very beautiful and quiet.
