“Relaxing break”
When I first arrived, a lovely receptionist welcomed me and explained all the facilities; the room was nicely decorated, roomy, and had a bath – a nice bonus. I went down for food and met a cheerful staff member, probably named Amy, who was everywhere from the bar to the kitchen, delivering meals and always smiling, no matter the time. The food was absolutely delicious; I started with two courses but ended up with a three‑course meal plus dessert. The macaroni cheese was a must‑try – perfect balance of flavor. I loved it so much that I booked an extra night; next time I return to Ayr, this will be my base. It’s perfectly located a short walk from the train station, the main high street, and a nice stroll toward the beach. The only downside was a few rowdy people on my floor, but the night porter handled it quickly.
