“Şikayet”

The location was great. We booked a room with two single beds, but they gave us a double bed and when we complained they moved us to another room that had no balcony. The wet towels had no place to dry, and even though we told them we were smoking, we stayed in a balcony‑free room. There was no sofa or chair to relax or sit, so we had to sit on the bed to eat and drink. The door code for our room was changed without warning, and we got stuck at the door.

The space was pretty and clean, and the location was perfect. The room had no window, balcony, or any outdoor area and was entirely interior. The soundproofing was terrible; the room was right next to the reception, so you couldn’t even talk a little louder without being heard.

We booked three rooms and stayed two nights, but the cleaning never happened. There was no indication for arriving by car, and the photos were beyond reality; it’s not on Front Beach but on the port.

“Belle chambre au coeur de l'activité de Rethymnon”

The duplex room was modern and faced the port with a view. Tea and coffee were provided. Located in the heart of the old town, it lets you visit shops, the fortress, and walk to the beach in 10 minutes, plus plenty of restaurants. The staff were friendly and I was very satisfied. The main entrance is on a side street of the old town parallel to the port, closed to traffic during the day, so plan to park elsewhere and walk to the hotel instead of trying to park in front. Like everywhere in Crete, you can’t flush paper in the toilets; it would be more comfortable to have a bidet.
