Everything was clean and it did its job. It was a bit on the pricey side.

The staff were welcoming and the check‑in was informative. It’s right in town centre and you can choose a bath or shower. The secondary double glazing gave good soundproofing, and the quirky decor added charm. The window in the room was wobbly, the air felt stale, the ceiling was low, and the steep staircase could be a hassle for people with mobility issues.

The staff were helpful, and the basic room was clean and just right for a one‑night stay. They even offered a generous helping of biscuits.

The room was very nice and comfortable, with good amenities and friendly staff. The location is great, close to the train station and the town centre.
