Great location, flexible—especially with the late check‑in help—and breakfast was spot on; would definitely stay again.

The couple running the private accommodation were very friendly, and the place is great for the city and the Highland Park Distillery. It was a bit tricky to use the washbasin because the tap was poorly positioned.

The breakfast offered vegan and vegetarian options, and we appreciated being able to choose from the menu the day before; showers were hot, beds were comfortable, and the spot is close to the cathedral and shops, with hosts who were always available and friendly – we just wish we had more time. Nothing else to complain about, we were very happy with our stay.

The guesthouse is beautiful and quirky with all sorts of interesting art, items and furniture in the guest lounge and friendly, welcoming hosts. We were actually visiting Orkney under difficult circumstances and Nicky and Alison's kindness and empathy was very appreciated. A wonderful family home where you will be well looked after
