They didn’t honor the room I booked for 44.00 and instead charged me 67.00 at the last minute, and there were flies in the room.

They added an extra $50 for my pet, which wasn’t refundable, and on top of paying $140 for a room that felt more like sleeping in my truck, I was charged $50 for a deposit. Room 108 wasn’t even ready: the door was open, dirty towels lay on the bed, and the fridge was on its side. A staff member later apologized, turned the fridge upright, and collected the towel. I was bitten by bed bugs so badly that I had to treat both myself and my clothes before returning home to avoid spreading them to my sick family member; I couldn’t even go into their house because of the fear of spreading the bugs. The shower curtain was filthy, the lights over the sink didn’t work, and the TV only had five channels. People screamed all night. The place looked more like a homeless encampment than a hotel. Breakfast consisted of cereal without bowls or milk, two pieces of white bread, and no juice, coffee, or water. When I asked for my deposit back, it took them 10 minutes to check the room. The paint was peeling, the door barely locked, and the carpet was stained and burned. This property clearly needs a health inspection. I can’t believe Econo Lodge allows its name on this site.

“Our bathroom was not clean at all when we arrived. The tub was filthy & the bathroom smelled of urine”

The location was perfect for my reason for being in Ohio, but I didn’t realize that people actually lived on the premises.
