The staff were friendly and could understand a bit of Japanese; the dog was adorable.

The location is good and the price is reasonable, but the music from the next door room plays until 11 pm at night. The twin rooms have lower‑quality equipment and some of them smell damp. The owner is friendly and speaks English, yet the young couple running the hotel seem to lack regional knowledge. They could improve by helping guests with practical arrangements, like booking a show in Lijiang or finding a reliable driver at a fair price. The restaurant they recommended was never open.

This place is truly beautiful, and the owners are super friendly—Gary gives the best hiking and sightseeing tips around. The café serves amazing cakes that you have to try. I’ll definitely come back; it’s a great spot.

My friend and I spent a few nights at Flamingo Hostel and loved how quiet it felt right in the middle of Baisha’s old town. The little coffee shop on‑site always had a fresh cake, which was a nice perk, and we could easily walk to the downtown area or head up to the mountains for a hike. The owners were friendly and gave us solid tips on where to go.

The place looks really pretty, everything was spotless and the rooms felt comfortable. Staff greeted us with a smile and were genuinely kind, making the stay feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.
