I was right in the old town, spacious and close to shops and restaurants, and the host was easy to contact. The location is both a perk and a problem: it’s convenient, but the bedrooms sit directly above a loud bar with live music that stays open until 2 AM. People gather outside, shout, and smoke right below the windows, so keeping them open at night isn’t an option. Even with the windows shut, I couldn’t sleep well without earplugs. The apartment itself shows some wear and could use a deep clean. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling and there was a lot of dust under the bed and along the baseboards. The spot is great for nightlife lovers, but if you want peace, quiet, and cleanliness, keep that in mind.

In the perfect spot of the old town, the place was spacious, clean, and the host left milk and two coffee cubes. The coffee was the best I’ve had in a long time. Short walks to the bus and train stations. Nothing to dislike!

I stayed in the Altstadt and found the apartment to be very nice.
