“great relaxing few days in comfort by the sea. Overall a wonderful hotel and a wonderful experience.”

Upgraded to a lovely room that came with tea, coffee, fruit and water, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was varied and fresh every morning. The pool was great, and the beach access was a really wonderful feature. I appreciated the 24/7 gym. I would have liked raw porridge oats at breakfast, and the gym was missing a rowing machine and a static bike, which is a shame; there were plenty of resistance machines that people use less now.

The breakfast buffet was complete, varied, and excellent, and the overall quality of the food was great. The pool and the child‑friendly facilities made for an excellent overall experience. However, the sound insulation between rooms and hallways was poor, the doors clanged, and you could hear everything happening outside.

Breakfast was excellent. When I booked, I chose full board, meaning breakfast and dinner were included. It took me a while to locate that option, which is why it sticks out in my memory. Upon arrival, the staff told me that only breakfast was included and that I would have to pay extra for dinner. That was upsetting, and I couldn’t find my original booking to prove otherwise.
