It was close to our weekend activities, yet a group of homeless people with barking dogs stood right outside our window on the last night; we called the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do.

This was my second stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Redwood City, and each time I’ve been impressed by how well‑maintained the property is; it’s very clean, orderly, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Every check‑in, the front desk greets me happily—this place truly makes guests feel valued, and I would stay again without hesitation. No criticisms.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff made sure everything stayed stocked and clean, and everyone we met was friendly; we’re glad the parking was free. The only issue was the adjustable shower head that kept sliding down the post, which we fixed and reported before leaving.

I asked for two queen beds, but the hotel said I’d get a king, and when I tried to switch back to queens there were none left, so I won’t stay again because my request wasn’t honored.
